The Influencer Initiative: Boss Baby Brody

The Challenge
When WeVeel approached me to help launch The Influencer Initiative I was beyond excited! The objective was to create a cohesive style guide for Boss Baby Brody’s exclusive product line under The Influencer Initiative. This initiative seeks to inspire change through influencer partnerships, focusing on children's products that reflect a fun and engaging brand personality. The challenge was to ensure that the style guide captured Boss Baby Brody’s authentic, inclusive, and sassy style while providing clear guidelines for product development and design.
The Goal
The primary goal was to develop concept and develop children’s product’s that would suite Brody’s personality and brand while also creating a comprehensive style guide that would serve as a blueprint for all visual elements of the Boss Baby Brody product line. This included creating custom illustrations of children and items that resonate with the target audience, designing patterns that evoke a playful spirit, developing type treatments that are fun yet readable, and establishing a vibrant branded color palette that reflects the character’s personality. The style guide aimed to unify all aspects of the product line, ensuring consistency and appeal across various products.
The Solution
To achieve this goal, I brainstormed over 20 innovative product concepts that aligned with Brody’s identity and values. After careful consideration and refinement, I developed and designed 11 standout products for the Boss Baby Brody line. Each product was thoughtfully crafted to embody the principles outlined in the style guide, with attention to detail in both design and functionality.
The Results
The Influencer Initiative is dedicated to inspiring change, one influencer at a time, through its kid-focused products that contribute to meaningful causes. A notable aspect of this initiative is its commitment to donate 10% of the profits to qualified non-profit organizations, creating a positive impact in the community. The successful launch of the Boss Baby Brody product line not only enhanced the brand's visibility but also fostered a sense of community engagement. The Boss Baby Brody collection, created in collaboration with The Influencer Initiative, was featured on Walmart store shelves, and I had the joy of taking my daughter to see her mommy’s work in action! The opportunity to develop products from concept to completion is incredibly rewarding and is a big reason why I am passionate about what I do.
